Taghazout Surf Expo – 5th Edition
22 Oct – 25 Oct 2026
Anchor Point, Taghazout · free · by Taghazout Surf Expo
Free entry, with free concerts every evening from 16:30.
About
The 5th Taghazout Surf Expo takes over the esplanade above Anchor Point from 22 to 25 October 2026. It's Africa's first professional surf trade show, and the biggest week of the year in the village: around 100 exhibitors, talks, B2B meetings and free concerts every evening.
What's on
- Expo village: surf schools and camps, shapers, board and wetsuit brands, surf stays and travel agencies, all in one place. Good for comparing schools before you book.
- Talks and workshops: coastline protection, surf parks, a new label for surf towns and villages, and a classification for surf accommodation.
- Masterclasses: sessions with Moroccan and international surfers.
- Digital: three Moroccan-built apps launch at the show, including two from the Royal Moroccan Surf Federation.
- Pro days: about 150 professionals for B2B meetings, including a speed meeting between tour operators and accommodation hosts.
- Evenings: sunset DJ sets and live concerts at Anchor Point, free entry.

Exact times for the talks aren't out yet. See the full programme on the organisers' site.
Opening hours and entry
Last year the expo ran 10:00–20:30 daily with free entry. Expect the same, and check the organisers' site for any change.
Getting there
- On foot from Taghazout: about 20 minutes along the coast road. This is the easiest option.
- By taxi: 3 minutes from the village, 40 minutes from Agadir.
- Shuttle: last year ALSA ran shuttle buses all day between the Anza corniche and Anchor Point. Expect the same this year.
- Parking: there's parking at the venue, but it fills fast at weekends. Come early or walk.
See our transport guide for buses and grand taxis from Agadir.
Make a day of it
- Eat: Taghazout's cafés and restaurants are a short walk away. See restaurants in Taghazout and Tamraght.
- Stay: rooms go fast during expo week, so book early. See stays nearby.
- Surf: Anchor Point works on bigger swells. Check the surf spots and book a lesson with a local school.
Free entry, with free concerts every evening from 16:30.
