TagTam Mobile App Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how TagTam collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the TagTam mobile application and the related submission services that support it. This page is hosted on the Visit TagTam website so it can serve as the public privacy policy URL required for the mobile app.
1. Who We Are
TagTam is a local discovery and community platform for Taghazout, Tamraght, and nearby areas. In this policy, "TagTam," "we," "our," and "us" refer to the operators of the TagTam mobile app and the connected services used to deliver its content, moderation, and submission features.
2. Information We Collect
The items below describe the categories of information relevant to the TagTam mobile app and its connected submission workflows.

Information we may receive automatically

- Diagnostics and performance information needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
Location information
- The TagTam mobile app may request your device location to show your position on the surf map.
- Based on our current app configuration, this location is used on-device for map functionality and is not stored by us unless you separately choose to share location details in a form or message.
3. How We Use Information
- Operate, maintain, and improve the TagTam website and mobile app.
- Review, moderate, publish, or reject submitted marketplace listings, instructor profiles, event drafts, and other community content.
- Respond to inquiries, support requests, and feedback.
- Display approved public listings and related contact details that you choose to provide for publication.
- Protect the safety, integrity, and security of the platform, including preventing abuse, spam, and fraud.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our policies.
4. When Submitted Content Becomes Public
Some TagTam features are built around community submissions. If you submit a marketplace listing, surf instructor profile, event draft, accommodation listing, restaurant listing, or similar content for publication, we may review and moderate that content before it is published. If approved, the content you submitted may become publicly visible on the website, in the mobile app, or both.
Please only include contact details, photos, and descriptive content that you are comfortable making public for the purpose of that listing or profile.
5. Permissions and Device Access
Photos and media
The TagTam mobile app may request access to your photo library only if you choose to upload images for features such as marketplace or instructor submissions.
Location
The TagTam mobile app may request foreground location access to show your position on the surf map and center the map around you.
Third-party actions
The service may open third-party apps or services such as phone calls, WhatsApp, maps, or external websites when you choose to use those actions. Those third parties handle data under their own privacy policies.
6. How We Share Information
- With service providers who help us host, operate, secure, analyze, or support the service.
- With the public, if you submit content intended for publication and it is approved for listing. This can include your name, business name, profile details, photos, listing details, and contact information that you intentionally provide for that purpose.
- With legal authorities or other parties when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or the platform.
- As part of a business transfer if TagTam is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
We do not sell your personal information.
7. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, moderate submissions, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce our policies, and comply with legal obligations. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the purpose for which it was collected.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. However, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Children's Privacy
