About Anza
Anza is the beach break at the southern end of the coast, just outside Agadir, a few kilometres before Aourir and Tamraght. With several peaks along the beach it picks up swell well and usually has something to ride, which makes it handy when the points further north are flat or too big.
It suits beginners and improving surfers on smaller days, and gets busier with locals from Agadir at weekends. The beach is easy to reach by bus or taxi from Agadir. As with any beach break, the sandbanks move, so check where the waves are breaking cleanly and watch for currents near the rocks.
