About Boilers
Boilers is a heavy right-hand reef break north of Taghazout, named after the old ship's boiler sitting on the rocks by the take-off. It breaks fast and hollow over shallow reef and rock, and it holds some of the biggest swells on this stretch of coast.
This is an expert wave. The take-off is critical, the reef is close to the surface and a wipe-out can be punishing, especially at lower tide. Surf it only with a lot of experience in powerful reef breaks, never alone, and after watching how and where the regulars get in and out.
