About K12
K12 is a beach zone at Aourir, next to K11 and close to Banana Point. Its peaks move with the sandbanks and it draws a mix of locals, surf schools and visitors, especially when the points are flat or too big.
It is best from mid to high tide and on small to medium swells. As a beach break it can be inconsistent, so look for the peak that is breaking cleanly and keep an eye out for currents. A good option for intermediate surfers looking for variety near Tamraght.
